I was first introduced to massage and bodywork as an Athletic Trainer in college at Keene State, but it would be some time before I could pursue my dream as a Massage Therapist and Bodyworker. Over the years I continued to study how the human body moved and how to address injuries, restrictions and imbalances in the body. I worked for years as a Personal Trainer, Yoga Instructor and Fitness Instructor teaching all sorts of populations and levels of athletes. I became known as the person you went to if you weren't meeting your goals, if you had old injuries that were not responding well to your current protocols, or if you just needed to feel balanced in the body you have. Finally some years later, an opportunity presented itself in the form of massage therapy school. This was the missing piece for me. The ability to work hands on with my clients to address more deeply the restrictions in fascia and range of motion and was exactly what I had been waiting for!
Since 2018 I have been fortunate enough to call myself a Licensed Massage Therapist! I have taken all of my previous experience in Athletic Training, Exercise Rehabilitation, Teaching and Yoga to assist my clients to lead a healthier, more balanced life in mind body and spirit.
Although I am continually studying and taking classes my style tends to be therapeutic massage. I enjoy incorporating deep tissue, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, athletic and yogic stretching, relaxing Swedish, and reflexology into my sessions.
If you have any further questions about my background, qualifications or techniques you need only ask. I look forward to working with you!
